August Music

Music I’ve bought in August.

I saw Σtella at a festival a couple weeks ago — I had just intended to check it out while walking past, but I found myself watching the entire show, so I bought her album. And… it’s very nice? It reminds me of British early 80s indie bands — some of them had a think where they were making *wink* *wink* lounge music, and this is kinda like that.

I bought an album where Astrïd and Sylvain Chauveau did a version of Dambala, so that made me get the album where Nina Simone did the same song, and it’s great.

I also got two compilation albums in the mail from Desert Island’s Mystery Mail thing, and they’re pretty good?

There are of course pamphlets included.

dgoHn’s drum’n’bass album is pretty good.

And I like R. Aggs’ new album called Tape 2. (But it’s not as good as Shopping etc.)

Aaaaand… I guess that’s all I had to say.
