It’s a kinda wild trip hop like thing? With the Amen break? I was thinking perhaps Nicolette… Or… well, it sounds very familiar, but…
Shazam isn’t able to identify it, and searching for snippets of the lyrics doesn’t yield any results. I think I asked this some years ago, but I got zilch (I think). Perhaps there’s a better music database than Shazam these days…

Now I want to know it too. It sounds Nicolette-y, indeed, but it’s not her voice. She’s more on the Billy Holliday side…
It seems that you found back one of these songs that no one can recognise anymore.
After listening to it a couple more times, I think the voice sounds kinda like the vocalist for Opus III? “It’s a fine day, people open windows…” But the rhythm doesn’t sound like them at all.
No, it’s not the Opus III vocalist — she has a more wispy voice.
