Rock Show

Man, Stereolab was fantastic. I first thought they kinda needed more people to fill out the sound, but then it all started to make sense with like the third song, and I was totally on board.

They played hits, obscure old songs, and new stuff, and it was all amazing. I was surprised at how many songs they played from Dots & Loops/Cobra Phases (I can never remember which songs are from which of those two albums) — there were about four? Which I really liked, because Dots & Loops is mah favourite.

Fan. Tastic.

I missed most of the warm-up thing, because I didn’t think they’d started yet, but apparently in Nantes things start on time! How rude!

(And the venue has super-duper sound isolation, so when I was in the lounge, I didn’t hear a peep.)
