I almost didn’t buy anything, did I? I think October’s going to be stronger.
µ-Ziq - Hyper Daddy / Muziq / Mu-Ziq
And the only notable album this time around is Grush by µ-Ziq. It’s the bees’ knees. Or the bee’s knees. I always forget. But it fun how all these three er tentpole “IDM” artists from the 90s have all returned this year (and the last) with their strongest albums in, well, three decades, on average: µ-Ziq, Squarepusher and Orbital have all done fantastic albums after years in the doldrums.
Sometimes musicians bounce back!

Unfortunately, the new Joan as Police Woman album sucks. There. I said it. It sucks. It sounds nice, and her voice is great, but she forgot to write any tunes.
