The Teensiest Script

For decades I’ve wanted to be able to open an xterm and run a command in there as if I had just entered the command manually on the command line.

That is, when the command exits, I don’t want the xterm to exit, and I want “arrow up” to show me the command that was running.

But I never wanted that sufficiently to look into how to actually do this, until today.

Behold the masterpiece!

Yeah, yeah, I should finish eww instead…

  1. The name is most important, of course, but I think that Emacs needs a built-in web browser, and since none of the other ones will be included (due to copyright issues), somebody had to whip up a new one.
