Wow, this is super noir. The opening sequence was brutal.
This was one of the biggest box office hits in Japan that year… and I just don’t get it. I mean, it looks good and the actors are engaging, but it’s just so choppy. The plot (what there is of it) is rather unengaging…
It’s stylish? Is that it?
There’s like plot enough for a movie half this length?
